Dynoed Today!

Only mods on truck are 16cm housing, POD's, 4" exhaust to the stacks via a regular muffler, not a hi-po muffler, stock intake, paper filter, and pump turned up 1.5 turns. Ran it in 5th gear so it would build full boost, came out to 260hp and 625tq! I'm pretty pleased, put out a little more than I was expecting. Gonna try to get a video up here in a day or 2. It was pretty neat, thought I'd share.

Nice numbers. Now I got me someone to chase. I only hit 190/490 with stck housing and injectors. After the torque converter, then the injectors.

Those are some great #'s! How much cash do you have into mods? Less than a grand, I'd say, which is about one monthly payment on an '06...gotta love a first gen

How's you EGT. I'm running stock injectors and a sidepipe. I can see 1350+ and climbing strong by the end of the quarter. What do run for 60', and eigth mile times. I ran 2.6 60', a 10.40 1/8, and 16.25@84.*

Egt's never hit 1200 pre turbo, come up real quick and then level off as soon as the turbo spools. I pulled a car on my trailer the other night for a couple hundred miles, and so long as the motor's in the rpm's with good boost, it's hard to get over 1200. As for track times, gotta dig up the timeslips and get back to you, not sure where they're at right now. When I ran my 16.08, that was before I played with the full fuel screw. It's now at 1.5 turns and only had it out once, but just can't get crap for traction on the bottom end of the track.

Normally $40 first pull and $10 every pull thereafter, but we got a little discount cause we played with 3 vehicles and hooked 'em up and ran the dyno ourselves since the owner knows and trust us. Thus he didn't have to do any work at all and continued doing whatever he was doing in another part of the shop.

What kind of dyno was it? I've only run on a mustang so far.
No 3200 gov spring? How much boost where you seeing? Peak boost is over 30lbs for mine. Temps will hit 1400 at the end of the run on mine.

This is how 93 did before and after I installed the 3200 gov. spring. Power screw at 1 turn in. Obviously I run the converter locked. Torque curve is funny looking on the one because turbo was still spooling. I have another run that peaked the torque at 750 ft-lbs. @ 1750 and 270 hp @ 2500.

The guy I go to charges $60 for 3 runs, but we usually wind up making at least 6 trying different things out. Last time it took a 1/2 hour to do everything.

Good work. You might want to add a fuel pressure gauge, the POD's are thirsty. They really do lay down the torque, though.
