DRW one Ton ?????
Did all of them come from the factory with cab clearance lights! I've always thought they did! Reason for aking is I found one for sale that did not have the lights and I questioned the owner about it maybe being a hybrid truck ie... a 250 converted to a DRW 1 ton truck! Figured someone on here would know! Thanks for the help! DT

All factory dual wheel trucks even to this day are required by DOT to have them. There are two trucks locally that were redone as duallies but with no cab lights I know thier secret. I looked in my 1991, 92, and 93 Dodge truck dealer brochures and everyone states that with drw clearance lights are standard equipment.

If you look inside your glove box you should see this sticker.
They are required by law, so if a dually did not have them it would be illegal to drive upon the highway.
Also if you had packages in the bed and no commercial plates you could get a ticket.
So I am told.

I'm old enough to have lived through this particular change. The 5 markers lights became a requirement back in the mid-70's. I had a 59 GMC dump truck back then that at that time. I HAD to add 2 cab corner marker lights. Before this it was required to have only the 3 middle ones for recognition at night.
