OK How did you find that? That is a nice truck. I have a 74W200, but would love to get a crew cab.

i will be honest i see at least two or three for sale in my area each week. look on craigslist.org that is where i find most of them just do a search on crew cab dodge and set a price limit. i am sure we had our fare share in this country with all the forest service rigs. i bought this one off of gsa. kinda makes me wonder if i shouldn't buy sell and trade in these. 2500ctd what part of oregon you in.?

What are your plans for that front axle. I too purchased a few crew cabs over the years, and have a 1977 with the same external drive flange front diff(dana 60) I have heard they are tough to beat, but my question is can we use them with a np205 transfercase?

haven't done the measurements yet but my thought are to swap the entire running gear from a first gen cummins . i use mine mostly to pull gooseneck and alittle house trailer use and i only use the front axle once in a blue moon when caught in snow or mud around the farm. this ol girl is low geared to thought the axle swaps would take care of that too. my 93 is to nice for a donor having no rust and less that 90k on it, other than some paint missing and a bump on the tailgate it is straight. i want to bring as much of the first gen parts along on the swap.

thanks for the offer i told myself i have to pour my slab and install my lift before collecting another rig. already have backlog. besides the search is the best part. past on a local cummins five speed 4x4 with not to bad body from several photo's he was asking 4500. just want to wait abit. don't know if i want to update to 93 doors and front sheet metal or stick with the original style. will need to replace front fenders and hood looks pretty rough like a hail storm damage. but the roof isn't dented.

I always see them advertised on the west coast like this one in the Auto Trader:

The nicest trucks are always on the west end of the country!

what would the manufactures gvw for that pickup be. mine is 8000 lbs. would there be a frame difference.? only thing that irritates me is our local DEQ rules that it has to be older than75 or a hd diesel i think over 8500lbs i will just farm plate it if it is an issue.
