Drag slicks ??
Guys I was wondering about Drag Slicks, I want to make a run at a loc track. I don't want to eat my stock dually tires up, I'm thinking of using a set of 10,s aluminum on some type of slick. Plus I think it will do better with slicks and light wheels instead of 4 duel tires. What do some of u guys run ?? Thanks TBoling

I think that a 10" slick would do nice but........you will have to screw the rim to the slick (to keep it form slipping on the rim and busting them expencive all rubber tubes in there!)
thay will have to be 16"rims, to clear the drums and you will have to get a custom set of wheel for the off set......i think?
O and you will need a lot more then 7pound in the slick to keep the beads off of the ground
If you are going to race the truck "on street legal night" You might want to get some DOT street slick, at least at RMR you can't race unless it's ...street legal all the way down to the tires!
10" of soft(drag) rubber will hook or grab better the 14" of hiway or of road rubber hands now!
