Drag Link ...where to buy one ?
I had my truck apart to change the tie rod ends and the one end is stripped out, doesnt go in or out. So I came to the conclusion that maybe it be best to just replace it..........but, upon many phone calls including the dealer, they are no longer availiable.
To make sure I have the correct terminology.....I am in need of finding a new bar, (the straight kind) that the tie rod ends screw into. Anyone know of where to find these or who might make them nowadays?
So far I have tried, dealer, and all the local auto parts stores including Rockauto (coulnt find any parts like this on their website). Suggestion ?

Drag link goes from the pitman arm to the steering arm.
The part you are thinking of i believe is called the center link.
This is not a wear part, you will have to get one from the wreckers or have one made if the dealer cant get one. AFAIK

Yep I ran into that issue too. I bought a wreck to rebuild and the only part I couldnt find was the tierod (some do call it a centerlink) I got some 1-1/4 .250 wall DOM and I'm just waiting on getting my taps and I'll build my own.

I actually had the same problem and bought the one from Off road design. They will ask for the length you want it cut to so if you go this route have that measurement ready.

I had one guy to tell me to just weld it on there, which I wont do for obvious reasons.
I am just amazed at the lack of 3/4 and 1 tons 4x4's left in the scap yards....there just arent any here in Western Pa.
