I checked everything and could not find anything wrong. I gutted the FSS and there was only a small piece if the plunger missing. Then I looked at the manual shutdown lever and noticed that it wasn't all the as in the run position. I moved it all the way to the run side and all is well again she runs real good power and boost are back to normal again. The pull cable isn't letting the lever return right. I went to tractor supply and got a new cable when it cools down later I will try to get it on there.

yeah the shutdown lever being just off of "full" run will limit governor lever travel. always a big relief to find it was something simple and free/cheap to fix.

That's crazy you're truck eats up Shutdown solenoids like that and our truck has a lightly modified tip going strong with a maxed out pump......another reason i think it has injectors in it.
