Do our trucks have glow plugs?!!

Hi all, this might sounds like a goofy question, but do out ctd trucks use glow plugs? I know they have a heater grid for cold weather, but i have yet to find a listing for a glow plug.
Anyone?
Thanks
Brent

No glow plugs - the grid heaters take their place (and do a better job, too).

We don't need no stinkin glowplugs
I've driven diesels that wouldn't start when it was 60 degrees out without cycling the glowplugs. My dodge starts at 30 degrees without even cycling the heater grids. Gotta love it.

My truck starts better than my Dads 6.5 chevy diesel in 20* weather. My dad has to cycle his glow plugs to get it to start, I sometimes just hit the switch on the cummins when he is around to rub it in. No glow plugs here!!
Doesent the ferd powerjoke use glow plugs?

Duramax used to; I think that now they use plugs and a block heater. Fancy schmancy Japanese engineering.

I think that the Fords do, but they're Fords... That's like asking a guy if he prefers tampons or pads...

Talking glow plugs

no glow plugs, pre heater works better. I got my truck about a month ago,it got down to to twenty degrees the first might I had it,at the time pre heater wasn't working, but it started on the second time over.my neigbor has a power stroke, and it barley started, with the glow plugs working.

Not trying to steal the thread,but..

Hey, guys with the 6.2 and 6.5, if they don't start at 20 F without the glowplugs something is wrong. Take it from someone who used to work on em for a living.
