Question different in 2wd and 4x4 motor mounts like metal bracket

I have a parts truck 91 dodge w250. I put all 4x4 stuff under my 92 Dodge d350 daully. I used my motor mounts off my 92. Now my motor ain't far enough down. And someone told me from 89-91 the mount brackets are shorter. Then the 92-93 ones.is this true?

I thought you told us in your other thread that you cut the brackets and were now looking to modify the crossmember as you might have dropped it too low? You never answered what motor it is. Didn't look like 12v valve covers.

My bad on the valve cover I should have looked at the gasket, I saw the red and didn't make out the individual covers. At a quick glance it looked like a single covet at the angle of pic.

Anyway, did you try flipping things around yet? As identified in your pics you have your rubber mounts in wrong. Take a look at the pic in the folllowing thread link. Having the studs incorrectly oriented may not be letting the motor drop all the way into the slots in the crossmember.
