The KSB wax motor operates the timing advance/retard operation oppositely.

Trebor please either slow down your typing or use a crayon so I can understand.

I think the delivery valves are a different length.

Different length on the delivery valve holders, '89-'91 Non-ICed use longer delivery valve holders, '91-1/2 -'93 use the shorter version.
1991-1/2 up use a solenoid that is instantaneous, '89-'91 use the wax motor version, as mentioned.

The 1989 Non-ICed pump uses an oddball squared off throttle lever, with NO return spring provision under the throttle lever assembly.

In truth, the Intercooled INJECTION PUMP will reportedly flow more fuel than the Non-ICed one will.
However the Non-ICed INJECTORS will flow more fuel than the Intercooled ones.

Mark.

Mark as always your expertise is greatly appreciated. I am down to the motor and tranny left in my RC. My dad has me elbow deep in a new summer project for him as well or I would already have them out. I spent a good part of the day Sat and all day Sun on the back roads of PA looking for replacement body parts for his newest ride. I have to admit I am very excited to see how this one turns out!!!! Updates will be posted as I think I found a very hard key piece to the puzzle.
