The symptoms of retarded timing are difficult starts, rough idle and having to rely on the KSB to start in cold conditions. I know my truck had a hard time starting until I got the timing set. Now it doesn't matter if the KSB is hooked up or not, it starts the same.<br><br>J-eh<br>

Yup, I agree....<br>Get the timing set to approx. 15* advance or about 1.45-1.5mm lift..<br><br>bob
