DennyT fuel pin

Was doing a lot of reading about this pin, seems like a really cost effective performance buy. My '93 is very stock, doesn't smoke, 156000 miles. Do these pins create a lot of smoke? Any info would be great,
Thanks

I have a performance fuel pin installed on my stock pump.........it only smokes on hard exceleration. Most of the time is burns clean/clear. If you want black smoke.........turning up the fuel settings will get you there.

putting a denny t pin in a stock ve pump will NOT give you smoke.
putting a denny t in a turned up ve(which smokes a ton already) will give you more power and more smoke

Installing any fuel pin that allows pin travel further than stock will add more fuel (all else being the same).

It adds nice pep to a stock 1st gen...few pump tweaks and a fuel pin and you'll be very impressed.

It will groove....mine did in less than 1000 miles, but a nice power gain on my turned up pump.

If I recall correctly, it wasn't a groove, just a little wear mark where the actual fuel pin was traveling on the cone. Nothing to worry about.

On my bone stock auto, after I installed the DennyT cone, it puts out a nice little puff when I floor it when the turbo isn't spooled, other than that, it's a haze after the turbo spools. I don't hot rod by any means, but I highly recommend one. It made my truck much more enjoyable to drive, and it seems like my fuel mileage may have actually increased some (after the initial "break in" period... ) which I think is due to not taking as much fuel or time to get to speed from a stop.

As I said before, I highly recommend one, and Dennis is a pleasure to deal with. Very fast shipping, and very reasonable price.

Mine grooved pretty bad and was causing the little pin inside the pump to catch on it. I just took a dremel to it and fixed it up and it's been alright since. Either way, it's worth the money.
