At least your in a better location for more options. I would have preferred to do the "alter the 47RE" route.

So how did this work out ? What happened with your old retired tranny guy and your corresponding old and tired 518 ?

Can't say I'm overly thrilled about the results. Had lots of problems with the TQ, still not happy with it and neither the tranny guy or the TQ guy will do anything for me because they are fighting with each other over who pays for having to pull the tranny back out 3 times. I think I'm going to get a Spec Rite, cut the old one in half and throw a piece through each of their windows.
