Death wobble
Truck is a 91 D350 DRW. I get the death wobble when making a long turn at above 35mph and only one tire hits a large bump, such as accelerating on a on ramp. I have had the death wobble before on other trucks but never heard of it on a 2wd. Where to start looking? I did find a bad idler arm and replaced it but no help.

Mine does this if I hit a bump with one tire then the other, kinda like hitting a parking lot speed bump sideways at 40 MPH! I believe it to be the centerlink, I had a work truck that did this at 55-60 on the highway sometimes! (90 F-superduty) I think we fixed by just tightening the darn nut and throwing on a good washer on the centerlink on the pass side. How is your tire wear? mines a little messed up on both sides.

I had a death wobble on my W-350 DRW. After lots of time and $$$ it is fixed. I had a Borgeson S/S, tie rod ends, new spindle bearings, Steering stabilizer, Ect. ON your two wheel drive I would start with the tie rod ends, shocks, wheel bearings, steering shaft, Pittman arm / draglink. Good luck.
