Dana 70 Power Lock Rear End
I want one.
Where do you get them? I searched the forum and didn't come up with anything. One guy said you could get them for $500 new, but failed to mention where from.
I can spin the right wheel now that I have the piston pump supplying the go-go juice.

I hate peg leg also. I had one in my 89. Blew it up and found a complete rear with a factory posi. I lucked out when I got my 93. It had one in it too. No more 1 wheel peel for me.

Its so weird for an LE truck to not have it.
Have not owned a 1st gen yet that did not have one beside the 727/3.07 truck we had.
even the 92 W250 with no factory a/c or any options had a LSD.

Interesting, your luck seems to be opposite mine. Out of the 6 or 7 1st gen diesels I have here only one has a power loc in it. And 2 of the 3 club cab LE's are open or were from the factory.

It will say "LS" right on the tag on the rear cover.
It will say 3.5 and then will say LS next to it,,, meaning its a 3.55 posi.
Or check the little sticker under the hood.

Of the three LE's I've owned, only one had LS. It was up to who was ordering the truck new for Dealer Stock as to if the LS was checked. To assume it has LS because its a LE is incorrect...That coming from a salesman who has worked at a Dodge Dealer for 28 years. He was the only one to spec out the new diesel trucks coming in. He told me if the LS was not checked off, it didn't come in with one.

What i'm saying is its weird for someone to check off everything like the LE package and all that and NOT check off LSD, unless they absolutely knew they would not need it.
It was not that much $$ from the factory. I have a window sticker from a 93 we had.
What else is weird is that a stripper no option truck we had here HAD a lsd, it may have been sitting on a lot in 1991 like that because it was in farm country. it was a 5 speed 3.54 truck
