If the axle housing was wrecked (threds, spindle), most good axle shops have a moble service that will cut off your bad one and weld on a new one. I had it done to several 80s chebys and big rigs with no flaws. You don't even have to take it off the truck and it wasn't to pricey.

Well I trailered it home tonight, didn't have time to work on it yet. I'll probably tear it down tomorrow night. I have 2 weeks before the next test and tune so hopefully I'll have the LSD in while I have it apart.
