D350 Shock Suggestions?
Just got back from a little roadtrip (couple hundred miles) in the CTD... while I LOVE driving it, rides worse than the tactical rigs I drove in the Corps!
Last I looked, the shocks appeared to be circa '95 yellow Monroes... not doubt installed by the PO when the factory shocks let loose at 20K. That would put about 135K on these!
Not looking to go the Rancho 9000s or Bilstein route. What's a good, relatively inexpensive, readily available shock that might tame the bounce of my trusty steed?

Probably just about any life time warranty GAS CHARGED shock would do..................Napa, Autozone, Gabriel, KYB.
Rancho 9000's are hydraulic and were bad for my truck.

Are we talking front or rear here? Mine is nice and cushy up front, but the rear gives you a kick in the pants on every bump. Not much the shocks can do about that. I only have the 6 leaf pack back there, too...

Mines the same way... frontend "floats" and the rearend is like getting a sledge hammer to the spine!
Will likely do BOTH ends... like I said, they've got to have at least 100k miles on them!

I did kyb's on the front of mine from carquest. they ride much better than the worn out one that were on there, but I still get the "float" I'm sure it would help if I replaced the rears because they're needing it bad too
