the plan is to make it nice right now. Blue/silver. Believe it or not the thing ran/drove amazing and the frame is really solid just surface rust on all but a couple crossmembers the wood bed sat directly on top of. Not going to do a full restoration but pretty close.

I've got the 3.55s in it now. I have an NV5600 sitting at the house that I was planning to put in while the body is off but it should be rebuilt first with a new clutch and I don't have the spare time or money for that right now. Also the cab already has the getrag hole in the floor so it can be done later. This is being done at my stepdads shop 150miles away from my house so it's a weekend only deal now that spring break is over.

Parts are coming together pretty good. The only thing that I can't find and really want to is the factory/dealer tach.
Ordered coolant temp, trans temp, and boost gauges along with pillar pods today. The pyrometer will go on the column later like in my 93.
My cousin is doing the paint work so my goal for this weekend is to get the rest of the parts ready to prime/ paint the inside areas.

Well didn't seem like a lot got accomplished but the parts truck is pretty much stripped as stripped as it will get right now so that's something.
parts truck
also got looking at the doors real close and found some cracks on the inner panel so I'll be making some "upgrades" as well.
I think I've got the outside handle figured out and I'll pretty much use wheeliekings ideas for that and the bar. The lower hing area I may have an idea but not sure if it'll work or not. Just need a chance to cut the parts door up and see what's really going on in that area.

Also found more of a problem in the trailer hitch mount area than I expected from looking at it before.
and got the cab fully stripped for paint work.
