They are out of a 2004 Ram, power drivers side seat with lumbar support...drivers foam and cover are toast, and the console top/arm rest has a couple cracks, but considering what the junkyards want for a OK set I can't complain.

Been pricing out a new seat foam, cover and a new cover for the console. For about $250 I can have a nice set-up....way less then what I would have had to pay at the JY.
FWIW,

My toyota pickup seat had the same hole in the same location. Being 24 years old, the covers / cushions were discontinued.

Found a 4runner that had a perfect passenger seat. Paid $40. Turns out toyota was smart enough to use the same parts for both seats, except for the metal / mechanical parts of the seat.

Disassembled both seats, took the good foam and cover off the 4 runner seat, and installed it on the drivers seat with zero issue. Brand new drivers seat and my hiney loves it...

You might get some helpful tips from this thread Driver's side seat foam problems? I have the cure! - DodgeForum.com
I knew I had that thread in my memory for a reason The first page's pictures have since disappeared but there are a few on the 2nd.

I tried the pass side cushion on the drivers side on my 2nd Gen seat...didn't like how it turned out. They are not shaped the same, nor have the same clearances for hinges etc.

Aw that's too bad.. Looked promising. I guess I won't consider it if my seats become uncomfortable.

Hey Dan....did you get 3rd gen seats for your crewcab?

I remember finding that thread a couple years ago.....sucks the pics are gone now. But my foam is totally toast, so will have to be replaced, but the additional burlap, and vinyl to help the new foam last longer will be a good idea.

Yup! I have a picture of them in my build thread. They're from a 2008 and are way comfier than my dad's 2007 for some reason.

How did the OEM brackets look...think you can make them work with the original crewcab floor...with minimal modifications?

I could make most of them work and would just need a 90* piece bolted / welded to the front mount and bolt them all to the floor. But I'm undecided if the seats sit too high for me or not.

Your head might touching the roof if you used the original brackets

That reminds me - I was going to ask if you could get a measurement from the top of your seat to your roof to compare the height difference.

Just a FYI, 4th Gen seats bolt in exactly the same as 3rd Gen and there are quite a few people who have put 4th Gen seats in their crew cabs
