Amazing that you're doing the rebuild right there in the driveway and it's so clean! No oil spills/leaks, fragments laying around.

Looking good!
Well, the neighbors were complaining about him working in his driveway, so he put up a bunch of rocks in the background to keep them at bay....

Hope to have the tranny in tomorrow, and get the tranny mount located so I can drill all the holes in the frame for it.

The only thing I like better than welding overhead is drilling.

Really? I searched their site and only found the one adapter. Do you have a link, or pic of the one you installed? I will go check out their site again and see if I can find the one you speak of.

I have their catalog in my shop left over from the swap.
They sent me the Non Z gated shifter bracket, stock with the bell housing kit- the Getrag to NV-4500 swap kit, but the Z gated shifter bracket was extra $ and needed to be order separately.
I will go get you the part #, If I can find it...

You covering the engine bay now I assume?

Looking good!
Thanks for the kind words KRB.

Yeah right there on the sloping driveway.... Not the easiest pushing a cummins motor up hill on an engine hoist...but I do what I must. And I try and keep things as clean as possible....don't want to pi$$ off the neighbors any more then I already do.

And yes I covered the motor with some thick poly and some bull dog clips to secure it.

For a normal person pushing a cummins motor up a slope would be a challenge. For thrashingcows I doubt he breaks a sweat, he's a big dude!

Well now that Christmas is over....I have been able to work on the truck the last couple days.

Got the tranny cross member all pulled apart...cleaned up...and painted.
