How can I test to see if My crank position sensor is working properly? Is there a way to just bypass it?

Unplug it and the Tach, Cruise and the alternator quit working.

or with a multimeter and it should create ac voltage when running.

Thank You, I'll check that. I don't have a tach and don't use the cruise control but I need OD he he.
