Cowl induction hoods

Cowl induction and a hood scoop are different things. Cowl induction works ...... it draws from that reversal/neutral air at the bottom of the windshield.
That 'Ram Air/Induction' system that is 3" from the level of the hood ...... looks/sounds nice. Does it work? Ask any racer ....

mknittle ....... dyno your truck, go home and cut the hole in your hood, add a hood scoop (remember: 3 scoops are better than 1), return for another dyno run ........ and let us all know about your hp/tq gains. I'll sell you an un-molested hood if the looks/dyno runs don't turn out the way that you thought they would ........
Don't forget to set-up the fans at the dyno ...... to simulate the ultra high speed that you'll achieve on the strip ......

Actually I am going the other way. I am planning on using a bird bath hood on mine. Maybe the lower hood will be more aerodynamic.
