i have heard of a company that makes fiberglass cowl induction hoods for our 1st gens. does any body know where to get one at.

I haven't seen any before. I'd like to get a hood scoop and make a Ram Air Intercooler setup for mine.

 

Do a search back to last year and you'll find a thread of mine with a link. No time right now to find it.

Here is a site you can check out. It's www.usbodysource.com they have a 3" high cowl induction hood on sale now for less than $400.00. Go to the trucks on the left side of page and select trucks and then find the dodge stuff.They also have a photo of a 1st. gen with a cowl induction hood . Just look at the page and you can figure out how to pull photo up. Hope this helps.......... Augie Dog

 

Rumblefish used to have an RT hood on his CTD and it was sweet.

 

i cant decide if i should go with the cowl or the r/t hood there both cool looking

 

r/t hood for sure. cowls are for chevys

 

what about a scoop just about where the intake is i cant decide if this is a good idea or would just look messed up.

I've wondered that but at the left front corner it would seem weird and unbalanced I think? You could move it to the back and run tubing up front to the box. The modified valence panel would be best I guess.

 

i dont know if some one with photo shop skills would see how that looks it would be cool. i have a feeling it would suck though.
