couple random engine reassembly questions
Just need to know a couple random things
1: rear main seal housing bolt torque values.
2: back of the IP delivery valve to cylinder # order (so I can get my fuel lines going to the right injectors. I didn't write this info down when I disassembled the motor)
3: What is the typical pryo fitting? 1/8NPT male to male? like I mean the adapter fitting that goes into the manifold that the probe screws down on to.
4: Do I have to run my tappet cover insulation thingy? I do live in a pretty cold climate but mine is uuuuugly, and caked and inpregnated with oil and grime. I don't really wanna have to put it on, on my freshly rebuilt and painted motor if I don't have to.

Don't know about numbers 1,2,or 3 but without the sound deadner over the tappet cover you are going to hear a LOT more valve clatter that may be a lot more audable inside the cab.

I sucked it up, and cleaned it and put it on. Still looks terrible on my freshly painted motor though... And the motor is going in the ford superduty in my sig so it's already fairly quiet in the cab.
Also, I think I found my injector line order here: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/89...ine-order.html
I found the rear main seal housing bolt tq values in my manual. Infact I found all kinds of useful info in there, who'da thunk!
aaaaaand I managed to find my old pyro fitting so all is well in rick land.

Some people really don't like the Toyota Prius, for a number of factors. It's glacially slow, remarkably useful and boring in equivalent measure and so on. However, that might be more boon than bane as vehicle burglars concur, as confirmed by fantastically low Prius robbery rates.

I thought I had a picture from my Cummins manual that showed the firing order from the back of the pump. I'll see if I can find it. If not, I'll take another and post it.
EDIT: Here's the picture. Could've sworn it had the firing order listed somewhere around here too. Couldn't find it though but obviously, "D" is #1.
