Copper Exhaust Gaskets?

Hey Every One, I Am New On Here. First Thread I Have Posted!

I Am Wondering If Any One Has Any Idea If There Is Any One Who Makes A Copper Exhaust Gasket Set. My 90 W250 Has Them On There Now. But A Couple Are Leaking Now And I Need To Replace Them. But All I Have Found Are The Stamped Steal Ones. I Have Been To Every Parts Store. And All The High Performance Web Sites Looking, With No Luck. I Am Thinking They May Be A Custom Job By The First Owner. Not To Sure.

Any One Ever Seen Any?

AND ALSO, IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO PUT NEW EXHAUST BOLTS BACK ON. I KNOW I DID ON MY 69 MUSTANG IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN I PUT HEADERS ON.
AND ONE MORE THING, WHATS THE TOURGE VALUE ON THE BOLTS AND PATTERN. IF ANY ONE KNOWS. THAN

Most likely a Cummins part that you will need to get from them. And I am just guessing but that seems to be the norm when you mix manufactures together.

Can't help 'ya on the gaskets, sorry. Can I ask why you're insisting on copper?

90dodge, give PDR a call about the copper gasket situation. They have worked with pretty much all of the possibl options for our vehcles and you'll get the straight goods from them..
Ask for Piers/Harry/Mark for help.

You can reuse the Copper gaskets...

Try Flatoutgroup.com they make Rubber Coated Copper gaskets, copper, MLS and a few others.. I know they have some Cummins stuff listed in their book.. but I don't have it with me.. They make great gaskets.. a little pricey.. but high quality...

Torque spec is 32 ftlb. Go from the inside out in a clockwise rotation. #1 is the upper bolt forward of the turbo flange.

As long as the bolts don't look bad, you can reuse them.

thanks

thanks for all the help guys!

Boatnik, i tryed cummins with no luck. i had a 18 year cummins tech tell me has never seen any and didnt believe me until he saw them. he suggested a home made job. but thanks Boatnik.

Greg, the reason for the copper hunt is because that what i curently have on there. and sence i have searched hi and low without any luck so far. i am determand to find them if there out there!

Pastor Bob, i looked at PDR's website but didnt see any thing. but i will call Mark there. i talked with him last year about doing some work on my truck when i got back from Japan ( lots of per-diem money, sometimes it pays well being in the navy) but the wife made me invest it . when i got the truck it had a PDR reciver hitch cover on it. and i bought it in northern washington, so maybe the first owner got it there. but the rest of the truck was stock, minus the lift when i got it. thanks PB.

Bryan. i will look up flatoutgroup.com thanks, and i tryed tightining it down with no go, still leaked. by the way i like your JD pulling tractor. a lot sharper than the Hestons and oliver, and a we lil ford we had back on the ranch growing up. sweet JD

Dave thanks for the tourge settings

Flatout Gasket part numbers for the Exhaust Manifold (a set of 6)
12V
7054-GPC (Graphic/Performance Core)
7054S-Steel/Clad.
Hmm.. They have Rubber Coated Copper Turbo gaskets.. but I didn't see any manifold gasket... but they have the pattern.. they should be able to punch out a set of RRC gaskets for you.. or Pure Copper..
Bryan

(I'll have to send you a pic of the G, once the sheet metal is finished.. I'm filling holes in the hood nightly... )
