Seriously,

Is a Gen 2 D250 or D350 have different diameter bars? How about 4wd vs 2wd? How about Gen I factory bar?
Seems like we need a table of the options.

Just for a reference, the bushing on the strut rod that the clamshell clamps on the sway bar clamp to was hard for me to find.

None of the parts stores had it locally. The Dodge part number is 3637622, it's something like 11.55 apiece. Hope that helps someone out. I know that I was on the phone with the local dealership for a little while going over diagrams and making sure it was the right part/part number.

ok, so some more info on bushings and whatnot. dodge has discontinued that bushing that goes on the strut rod, only a few dealerships have them.

So I decided to go with polyurethane.

part number is 5.5140g, it's an energy suspension kit. had everything I needed. I got it for 29 dollars and some change from sfx performance.

I got one of those at the local salvage yard a a few years ago. I got it for my '87 D100,I even painted it up and everything, and then stuck it up in the rafters to collect dust, because I couldn't find the bushings for a while. This spring I'm putting on my '91 because that truck doesn't have a sway bar either.

Is that the part number for the bushing that is solid,or the one that has a slit in it to wrap over the strut rod? From what I've seen, the 91-93 models had the one with the slit, and the wrap around clamp, while earlier models had what looks like a bushing that would have to slide over the end of the strut rod,and a two-piece end link clamp.

Your 92 should have one, or probably had one at one point.

The 92 dually we had, had a bar and so does the current 93 D250.

I think they went to the sway bars in 91.5 ?? anyone have a 91.5 with a swaybar ??

They have been around for a long time. I got mine off an 84 3/4 gasser. They were optional on our trucks, but I have yet to see a gen 2 w/o a sway bar, even 1/2 tons.
