convientient add-on
I went to my local kenworth dealer and picked up a block heater plug in. I mounted it on the rear of the passengerside fender. I dremeled off the KW logo, and popped the round Dodge Truck emblem off my Wal-Mart key chain and glued it over the ground off KW logo, looks down right nice and its a breeze to plug the truck in.
Now if I could only make the whole front end tilt forward.....

Try this link I have been thinking about them. Looks like it would be a good deal.

Man, juggling all the wires and junk to make a tilt forward front end would be a PITA! But then again, it may be worth it...
Has anyone seen a first gen with one of those cowl induction hoods?
One distinct advantage I can see with that is taking a hundred pounds or so off the front axle, and that tilt forward design would really make maintenance a lot easier.

That is a great idea! Why didn't they come from the factory that way?
I knew a lot of guys who would weld up their front clips to make a tilt nose. Or you could go with the hood raises, fenders tilt, like the old Brockways and Macks . . .
I guess now that you shut her down at night you needed to actually use the block heater?
