Convert Differantial to a Locking one???
Hello,
I was wondering if I could convert my Model 70 Differential that does not have Track-Lock Pose into one that does? I was hoping that I could just take out the old parts from the differential and put in new gears to make it a locking one...
Currently my truck does not have the pose locking traction... Look forward to any ideas you guys have.

Sure, you can buy a Powr-Lok diff or a Detroit Locker and put it in the axle. You will just have to reset the backlash and bearing clearance. If you don't have the tools (need a case spreader) and the know-how a 4X4 shop can do it for you pretty cheaply. They set up diffs all the time.
