I've got the stock '93 electronic speedometer from the donor truck and I need to hook it to my NP203 TC that requires a mechanical cable. Should I just replace the speedometer with an aftermarket mechanical one or is there an adaptor to tie the two together? Anybody else run into this problem?

 

You should be able to use an adapter from a 93 (or so) truck . . . the NP205 transfer case has an old fashioned mechanical gear, with a gear-box and sensor screwed into it. I have no idea what ratio adapter you will need, BUT frostie bought a box somewhere that will multiply and divide electrical pulses, so you could get any adapter an make it work that way . . . Frostie runs his speedo off the ABS ring in the rear axle.
