coils in brake lines near master cylinder

coils in brake lines near master cylinder
do these have a purpose and do i need to remake them them bending new lines? if so how precise must they be?

1st Generation Admin
- The cab of the truck floats on rubber mounts, independently from the frame of the truck.
- The master cylinder is mounted to the cab's firewall.
- The brake distribution lines are mounted to the frame.
Those coils of pipe allow the two (cab/frame) to move about without stretching/breaking the lines that connect the two (master cylinder / frame mounted brake lines).
Make sense?
Replacements don't have to be pretty.
