Clunking in front on curves?

I have a clunky noise in the front going 55 on curves. Probably happens about two or three times per second when going around gradual curves. Sounds like its coming from front drivers side. Got out to check it and lockout cover is loose. Any idea what could be going on before I tear into it?

Thanks

If it makes the steering wheel jump then its probably the axle joints

Theres quite a few things that can cause a Bump/knock noise. You would do best to give the truck a good shake down and try to isolate the noise to an area. My first thought would be a loose/broken shock, but that would be most of the time not just going 55 in a corner. Have you thougt to check your cab and core support mounts. Can you feel the clunk in your feet? Good Luck noises can be a bear to find. But use your head to what is moving the most at the time it happens and that will help isolate it. Dose it only happen doing 55 in a corner? Is there bumps/whoops in the corner when it happens?
