Clock spring

I'm betting the clock spring is a dealer only item, correct? Has anybody bought one recently, if so how much $$ am I looking at? Thanks Dave K.

clockspring

I priced one about 6 months ago, $132 at one dealer $107 at another.
Mine broke at the end so I scraped and melted the coating off for about 1/4 inch and then resoldered it to the connections, works
perfectly and was a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the info, I wish I could fix mine. It is broken in several places and missing a few pieces inside, looks like the previous owner took it apart and got in over his head.

Good luck, Shop a number of Dealers as they all seem to have different prices.

I got mine at pick-n-pull off a '93 chrysler car. I don't remember what model, but the clock spring looked the same except two extra wires for the cars airbags that you can just leave dissconnected. Just be sure the car has cruise control (obviously).

Try the online dodge parts places too, they are a little slow but 35 percent off is nice.

UPDATE: The $5 junkyard part off of a `94 Plymouth Aclaim is working beautifully, thanks everybody.
