Question Choosing injectors...the mileage plateau

Completed my valve clearance check and adjustment today and some were sure out of tolerance, but now they're right and the truck purrrs!!........well sorta; it is an "oilcan" after all . Thx to wannadiesel and others for the advice yesterday.
While under the hood I figured I'd crank my full fuel screw slightly for just a little more power but sadly she be right at the max [lock collar is removed]. I need mo POWER!!!, which brings me to the questions. First off can anyone tell me the difference between bosch 190 injectors and P.O.D.'s, namely their impact on fuel mileage and potential H.P. #'s. My engine mods are all the standard pump tweaks sans the 3200 spring which will be installed early new year, 16cm exhaust housing, high flow muffler and K&N air filter. I have found my mileage has actually improved with my current mods, but I am worried I will kill my mileage with any more mods. I plan on 3.5" exhaust and airflow mods in the future.
Any suggestions on what direction to go with power mods that will not hurt mileage much???.

Thx. once again,
Mad Mikey.

P.O.D.'s dropped my in town mileage from 16 to 14 mpg. I can see that 2 mpg following me sometimes... Highway mileage is the same as it ever was, 18 mpg at 70 mph. If you use your truck mostly for highway driving I don't think you'll notice much drop with the P.O.D.'s.
