Rockgolem,
I returned the PM. Give me a call. I don't have anything going on Fri. or Sat. We'll get together if you want to look at it.

The way I see it... Outrageous prices? Maybe... But could it be because POSSIBLY the truck actually means that much to him/her? I mean come on... look at them... could you turn down a face like that?

Ok, just found 2 more 1st gens: 1 is a '92 std. cab 4x4 5 spd dark grey, the other is a clubcab, '93, grey on grey(light grey), AT, 4x4 could benefit from a paint job, otherwise both are very, very nice trucks.
1) the 92 is $5,800
2) the 93 is well worth the asking price of $8,900.
To me, if I saw both of those trucks side by side, its hands down the clubcab looks better and commands more money especially since its a 4x4. Now if they are only asking $5,800 for the 92, I'd be going over that truck with a magnifying glass and a find comb, because personally I don't think a "good" 4x4 is worth less than $8k in the condition that these are in .
The 92 has 295k miles, the 93 has 263k miles. Both run, sound, and look very good. However, the 92 is much more worn: beat inside bed, window motors slow, rubber gaskets(doors/windows)hard brittle, no rust, but just was beat to death as far as a 1st gen goes. Still a good truck for the money, but if you're like me, i like nice trucks: nice paint, motor, tranny, interior, suspension, etc. Take you time, travel outside your normal area if you have to and above all else, once you find one and don't have enough money for it...then SAVE up for it! Don't let another one slip through your hands! I spent 13 months looking for one and finally did. Only problem with my 93 club cab is that its a D250 and not a W250!
