Calling those with Buckstop Bumpers

I have had a buckstop bumper on my truck for some time now, and I was wondering what kind of lights I should put on it? I am looking for a nice, good 6" quality light, any suggestions? Also I have noticed that some bumpers have light buckets, and some (like mine) just have hole cut out for the lights; do I need these light buckets? Mine does have light mounting brackets on the inside of the bumper (universal).

Any suggestions would be great!

I Like my KC daylighters but they are not legal for use on road. You do not need buckets to mount them they just bolt to the mounting tab.

Thanks, that is what I was wondering, why aren't they legal for road use, too bright?

Yes, too bright. There are street (DOT) legal lights out there, a big truck place is usually a good place to find them.

Could those of you who have buckstop bumpers possibly post some pictures? I'm thinking of getting one but haven't seen good pictures of their color selection.

I have had "illegal" lights above my bumper for over 2 years, and have never had a problem. I just wired them so that they would be off when the high beams would be off, and as long as i remember to dim my lights, no-one will even know they are illegal.

What are some good brand lights to get? I don't want some cheap ones (been down that road), I wold like some mid range that don't draw too much. I will try to get some pictures, I don't I have any so I will have to take them.

I go to Ocean shores every once in a while, was going to go clamming down there this weekend but had something else come up. Is your shop in Vancouver?
