cab visor quistion
#16
can anyone explain to me the reasons (other than possibly a visual compliment) why someone would add a cab visor? What is it's purpose, and does it require drilling into the cab roof to install? If so, don't our trucks have problems w/ moisture leaks anyway? Why would someone want to add to the dillema? I am truly curious. I, too, think they are sharp looking. Please explain.

I had to drill holes for my Lund. I guess any hole is a potential for a leak, just do the best you can in sealing it. When the truck sits out in the snow or freezing rain, it gives you a clean place to start scraping from. But mostly for me, I just like the look.

I ponder the functionallity of the visor at times. I do think they look good. I think they will cut down on sun getting in the cab. Ice free or half free I have not thought about yet. I am more curious to see if it effects my MPG. I would say its more than 50% for looks.
