Yes it should fit. All the windshield's from 70 something to 93 are the same I don't see how the visor would be any different.

But just to be on the safe side go to LUND's web site and check for application to see if they list two different ones.

Just for poops and giggles I went on to Lunds web site and searched for both regular cab and extended cab and I found that HAMMER_DOWN is absolutely correct they are different. There is two different part numbers one for ex. cab and one for reg. cab. I just find that odd you would think that the front of the cab should be the same the roof line, I thought, should change just before the end of the doors.

The windshield is the same, the top of the roof changes. The reg cab has a level (flatter) roof panel, while an ex. cab humps up because it has to span a larger area. It sheds water and snow and any time metal has a bend or arc in it, it resists bending better.they had to do it because it is larger. oddly enough the pre 81 reg cabs had this hump in them. so it would work for them( the ex cab visor that is). Also the ramcharger has a humped roofline for the same reason. I believe the r/c and ex cabs are interchangeable.

The extended cab didn't get redesigned in '85 like the standard cab, it has the old roofline from the '70's.

^^^^^What he said.^^^^^

A friend picked up a LUND for a regular-cab, at a swap-meet; when he attempted to install it on his extended-cab = No Go.

^^^^^Yeah,^^^^^ but there also seems to be an additional issue with or w/o OEM cab clearance lights, from what I've seen. Never messed with a visor personally, but double-check the cab lights too if you have 'em, just in case...

The one I have for my ext cab fits with the OEM clearance lights just fine. They are 2 different part #'s for the reg and ext cabs.

Adding to my last post the visor I have is unlighted which has no clearance issues with the OEM cab lights. The lighted visors may not have clearance for the OEM cab lights because maybe they figure you have none already.

The ramcharger and the extended cab are the same the reg cab is different. The extended one will interchange with the reg cab but the visor will not fit to the roof correctly. Hwever the reg cab one will not fit the extended cab at all.

The only difference between lighted and un-lighted is the pockets/openings for the little lights.

Just a few nights ago, I actually saw a 1st GEN. in our shop that had BOTH, lighted visor AND cab-lights; it actually looked pretty good in the dark.
