Bypasss PCM for Cruise

Has anyone bypasssed the PCM for cruise control functions?

I have allready replaced a PCM, and now the voltage regulator and overdrive are bypassed.
I am not sure it makes sense to buy another PCM for just the cruise functions

I have allready checked out the servo and the clockspring and the switches, both steering wheel and brake switch?

Anybody come up with an easy fix yet?

Thanks,

No, you can't bypass the PCM for the cruise, it contains all the logic needed to run the servo. A scan tool will allow you to see what cruise inputs the PCM is seeing, and will tell you what is preventing the cruise from operating. They can be difficult to diagnose without that. It doesnt seem too likely that the PCM is preventing the cruise from working, but if it is, I would simply replace it.
