I kinda want to find a piece of aluminum the same thickness, and stand it up somewhere and shoot it with several different calibers, just to get an idea of what hit me.
I say just use the tool box, if your that curious. Especially if your replacing it anyways. Its always fun to do that kind of stuff in your back yard (or somewhere that nobody can hear you or get hurt from accidents)

I decided not to replace it. Money not easy to come by when you're in college.

Yeah, you have a point :-/ but it would still be fun :-D They are way too expensive for a nice one. I'm in the process of installing my old tool box but i really want to paint it first, while saving the stickers it accumulated during high school and the first few jobs i had.

Good luck. I haven't had any luck saving stickers. Actually you could try a pressure washer. I took some off my four-wheeler that way. lol

Yeah i stripped the sticker off my 1983 honda 185atc, i was ******. I'm picking the toolbox up from my moms some time this week then we will see how it looks as is. If i remember there are only 3 bumper stickers or w/e. I've been looking for a new hinge to weld in place of the seized one.

Agreed. I like your Hank quote. Ever since this incident, "I got a shotgun, a rifle (in my) 4-wheel drive and a country boy can survive!" lol I really want to buy a pistol now. Keep it loaded under the seat....

It's not a big deal. Just a tool box. I finally found something duct tape is good for besides hack jobs. I want a Springfield Armory 1911, or a Ruger Super Red Hawk Magnum .44!

I've got a Taurus Judge, and while it needs the right holster for concealed carry, it is a fun gun. The local kids quit dumping ketchup in the mailbox when I emptied a couple boxes in a short time one afternoon. I think one of my targets being set near the mailbox may have been part of what made it effective.

I have a toolbox you could have, but it is 600 miles from Madison. It looked nice til I got it in the truck and tried closing it. By the time I got the latches lined up the back of the lid was breaking out.
