Broken vacume pump.... maybe

Weathers been nice here in NJ so I figured Id take the 90 out for a spin I start truck back it out of the garage no problem warm it up for a couple go down the road step on the break hard as a rock pedal . Does anybody know how much vacume the pump draws I pulled the line off at the pump and felt some suction but Id like to stick a gauge on it before I condem it and that it is not the booster. Thanx John

Do a search on vacume pump and you should get that info and also info on parts and rebuilding yourself.

Vac should be above 17", most go up around 20 or so. Make sure you check all the vac hoses and tee's.
