i would think fluid drag would be minimal...............like a few hp and jqmile has a 2wd.
gear ratio means nothing once the truck is up to speed and in 3rd gear..
head work and the new high end garret turbos would be the ticket.
but like stomp said you can build a flat out fast well rounded usefull truck or you can build a dyno queen.

I’ll admit that I was a little upset, it’s not like I haven’t worked hard to get where I am. I’m not really going to give up because anybody with off the shelf parts can do what Jason did. The funny thing is he didn’t even back it up with another run. He went once and got off of the dyno, he didn’t even try.
I remember when I dynoed back in 2004/2005 and had a fluke dyno run and made something like 100hp more than I could on any other dyno. When I dynoed again on numerous dyno’s I couldn’t back it up so I let everyone know it was a fluke, something was wrong. The only bad part is everyone is going to believe Jason’s number until someone beats it because he is going to write an article on it.
So here it goes same place same dyno that’s what he has been preaching for quite some time. Drakes Dyno on November 5th.
I have a decision to make. Cater to the dyno and the crowd or keep it the same combination and see how far I can get. I don’t know what to do. It’s not an object of money, because I have the go ahead to do whatever it takes to win.
I don’t have a problem letting his head swell for a while because I have better things to do with my free time than working on my pickup.

Jason, was that 27mpg with the 5x25's and the turbo used on the dyno? Locked the rear end yet or were you loosing traction during that nitrous blast?
Jeremy, keep it up man. You and KTA were trend setters. And I'm going to fully agree there is more valor to be found than an unlinear boost of power that is useless anywhere else other than the dyno. I look forward to more modifications (if you share it with us), that I can find useful for what I do with my rig.
Jason, I'm not doggin on you either, just pointing out how far both of you have gone. Hp is Hp and that's all that matters on a dyno, silly gas or no.
Looking forward to Nov 5th!

Once the throttle hit past 1/4 though, forget about it. Smoke-out city.
