Bottom radiator hose trans cooler fitting size
Guys i was wondering if you can take off the nipple that ran to the trans cooler that used to be mounted on the pass side of the motor? It is located on the block where the coolant return goes to from the heater core tubing. There used to be a trans cooler cylindrical deal hooked up to it that i trashed. the nipple im talking about is the one that runs horizontal not vertical and only came on automatics. Does anyone know what size this nipple is and if you can remove it? thanks guys

Relax, a little more patience wouldn't hurt.
That fitting is for 5/8 water hose and should be either 3/8 or 1/2 tapered pipe thread, not completely sure which because I've never had to remove that one.

but then again it is kinda an emergency because there is coolant leaking all over the place so impatience might contribute a little bit. however thanks for your replies
