Borgenson Steering Shaft
I'm looking for a Borgenson steering shaft in Canada. Does anyone know where I can order it in Canada or do I have to have it shipped from the States?

Thanx for the replies guys... I thought I'ld have more Canadian answers though...
Okay .... How about this then. I'm across the River from Detroit. Does any Detroiters know of any parts suppliers in the Detroit area that might have it?

You can try Mumbly's Offroad - they're near Roseville, MI.

Last time I ordered a Borg' was about 8 years ago....took them a few days to get it in IIRC.

Why not just use a flaming river u joint? http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cf...rod/prd179.htm
They are only $75 compared to the $200+ for a borgeson shaft. I've used them before and they work fine. You just have to cut the stock shaft to the correct length and weld the u joint on. I believe the one for our trucks is #FR1702

Got another question about the Borgenson steering shaft. Does anyone know if it has a replaceable U-Joint or do I have to replace the complete shaft again when it wears out?

I am sure you could replace it, might be a PITA though. They are "staked" in, meaning they distorted the yoke a 'lil above the u-joint cap. Like you hit it with a chisel 4 times. Most OE steering shafts are built this way. I doubt the joint will wear out, but only have maybe 500 miles on mine($4.59 diesel 17 mpg, 3.87 gas 27 mpg)
I see your point about being able to replace it though. For less money, you could probably make one of these, that has a standard replacable u-joint:
