I was wondering if any of you guys that drag race have seen a difference in et at the track with a boosted launch? I ran last night and I spun bad even leaving with 6psi. I have slicks for the truck but I haven't used them yet. I was wondering how much et difference there was between a boosted launch and a non boosted launch.

A lot.

If you are spinning badly with just 6psi, aint no way you gonna hook with more.

Throw the slicks on, air the to 12-15psi, warm them up, boost at 15psi or more.

My brothers 03 6.0h no does 15.2 with no boosted launch on a 120hp tune. Boosted to 20psi, it goes 14.1. He has a bigger tune but it needs a custom tune as that one shifts way too late. Not bad for intake, exhaust, and a tune.

That was exactly what I wanted to know thanks a lot. My goal is 13.99 just so I can say it went in the 13s.

This past Thursday night I made four passes at the local 1/8th mile track: 8.05, 8.06, 8.16, and an 8.07.

8.16?

Going back and reviewing things found I'd come off the line with 15psig of boost instead of the preferred 20psig.
