boost pressures
i just got my boost and exhaust temp gauges put in and i was wondering what types of pressure it should be reading. i have the stage 4 compressor kit from HTT and the 16 cm housing.
when im just driving, the boost doesn't really go up at all, and when i floor it, it will go up to about 18 psi and thats the most it will go.
and for the egt, when the truck is idling, it reads about 200-250 degres and about 400-600 when im just driving. when im on a hill or im just giving it alot of gas, the temp will climb up to about 850-950. But even climbing up a long steep grade it never got above 1000*.
just wondering if these readings are normal. thanks

Im running the same hardware, but when I punch it--bam--32psi. Time for you to break out a 13mm wrench and a screwdriver son. Hey bloodhound, does your hula woman make things go faster? I use mine as a tachometer, when her hips start-a-shakin I know its time to shift

At WOT I see around 36 psi and the EGT's are ..... lets just say not good, I can hold it to the boards for about 30 seconds before the 1600* pyro is pegged . Now with the valet on crusing at 65 on the highway I see 10-15 psi and 600* on the pyro. I need more air I'm trying to push to much fuel through the stock turbo.
