It seems to be tighter. I have a few month old reman steering gear; however it seems the cooler fluid is allowing the gear to respond better. I'll need some more miles on it to know for sure.

Thats just a one of a million.
I should of looked closer at the remote reservoir. I gave up on it when I couldn't find a easy pump to use. The other thing I was concerned with was GPM of the pump. The high out put booster requires a high output pump. Not sure if the older pumps meet the spec. or not. That's one reason for using a second gen pump.

Lines and Master Cylinder are from a 1996 Chevy K3500.
Talon also carries generic line kits to fab up per application.
Cooler came from Auto Zone Smallest trans cooler/power-steering cooler they carry.
You'll also need:
5' of 3/8" power steering return hose.
6 - 5/8" clamps
2- gallons of power steering fluid
2- quarts of break fluid
1- 10" 5/16 break line with 1-9/16" nut and 1-1/2" nut
1- vacuum tee
1- 1998-2002 Ram power steering pump
or
1- 3/8" brass tee (return lines will need to be cut and spliced per Talon recommendation)

Your not not going to believe this the pump is a General Motors Saginaw model 115.

Those are in about a gazillion car&trucks GM, ford & mopar.

Anything from a chevy celebrity to the dodge cummins the only thing that is different is the control valve assembly.
Reason vehicle weight. Tank size and shape also.

I'm not sure that would be a question for the folks at Talon. I wouldn't think the extra flow would hurt, but I'm not sure.

Looks real good Fitter. The only thing I'd suggest is to not mount the cooler on the condenser. The weight of the PS cooler may wear holes in the condenser especially with the ride quality of these trucks.

Now you guys have got to stop coming up with all these great upgrades, I'll never get my crew done!

That's just awesome! It cleans up the look a bit without a big diaphragm mounted to the firewall. Did the guys at Talon happen to keep the dimensions/drawing of the flange and any other parts necessary to bolt this to our trucks?

Talon will have a full kit available. Ask for Butch and tell him what you need. He will even have generic line kits available. May be a little easier than adapting the Chevy lines.

Once I get my PS intercooler in I'm going to move it. the small amount of fluid/weight shouldn't hurt the condenser. Besides I do industrial A/C for a living so repair/recharge isn't a big deal.

Very nice, thank you for posting the details.

I need to do this conversion on my truck along with some larger front brakes and some rear discs ( on a 2003ish 14-bolt! ) My 39s are a little hard to stop.....
