Biggest stock tires on these trucks?
Hi.
We have a stupid law what allows us to increase the tire size max of 2" and width of 4". So I'm asking that what's the biggest tire these trucks/ramcharger or similiar body style has had from the factory. It does not matter if it's a special model. Pre 1994. So the same body style. If there has been a truck with 35" tires in 1976 for an example tell me. If some truck has had 33" tires, I can get 35" tires legally under my truck.
30-32" just wont cut it for me...
Thanks guys!

We have the same law in Maine oddly enough. They only really seem to care more if the truck was made after 1993 or so, has something to do with ABS. However, most people look the other way until 35"+
I know most the trucks came with 235/85-16's which works out to about 31-32" actual (31.7" mathematically). So, that allows you to throw some 33"-34" tires on.
Some 315/75-16's work out to 34.6" mathematically, and about 12.5" wide.

Yeah. That sucks. Anyway, If you guys just know some special models or options, please tell me what are the biggest of them all. Don't want to ggo to an inspection office and compare my truck to a power wagon with 37" tires because that's not really the same truck, not even close

Not aware of anything other than 235/85R16, 245/75R16, 7.50R16 and 9.50R16.5 on most SRW 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks from the factory.
I would put on some 255/85R16 or 285/75R16s. (Both 33" but 285 is wider) and call it done.
I have 315/75R16 on my stock height '93 W250... crammed onto the stock steels... and they rub the fenders and pitman arm when I turn.
