My first boats mains were similar to this. Fairbanks 38dt or something like that... Opposed piston inline 12 cylinder; two cranks 24 Pistons; big edit like 25' tall 24' long.


The reduction gears behind them were 85k lbs

They were Fairbanks 38" 8 1/8" and the cool thing I forgot to mention is no starter motor... This thing literally used compressed air and timed solenoid valves to start... It was cool as all get out
