best mods for a little more power

Hello, I just bought my truck from the original owner and it is all stock. What would be the first mods I could do to give it a tad bit more power without hurting the longevity to much? Air intake and exhaust? Gauges are first but then what? THANKS

What do you guys think of the banks stinger system? They show 25hp and 50tq with just the air filter and exhaust mods? Anyone try this system?

Your better off straight piping it and using a BHAF. A Muffler shop will cut out the muffler and bend up and weld in a piece of pipe for about $40.

most of people will tell you that the banks stuff is a waste of money. look up BHAF (big honkin air filter) almost anything you wanna do to this truck is not a huge brand name store bought mod.
pump turns - Free (look in tech facts)
3200 spring- $15-20 (look in tech facts to fine the part #)
BHAF- cost of filter + $20 and some time to fab it up
Timing bump- Free
If you do those things you won't believe the difference. then if you want to spend a little more....
PODs - about $440
16cm- around $150
High Tech Turbo Compressor upgrade (to cool the PODs) about $200
the list could go on and on. no matter what your wrenching abilities, take the time to learn on here and everyone will help you work through it. you will learn a ton and save a lot. welcome to DTR!
