bench seat conversion????

hey guys, just trying to figure out my options here. my truck is an extended cab d250 5 spd, and it originally came with a 40/20/40 split bench " apparently" according to the spec sheet the dealer gave me. the guy i bought the truck off of put these bucket seats in with the intention of getting them redone. they look like crap all torn up so now im trying to look for a bench to install. how hard is it to modify a 2nd gen bench, can this be done how hard is it. is there any pics. or does anyone know where to get a 1st gen bench???? thanks
