Ha.
You guys are awesome.
I'll see if I can hit you with some answers:
Bearkiller, yeah I built that to get my scrap wood out of my shed and my garage. I now own my grandfather's father's house (4th generation here) and much of the house has been in need of...renovation...I end up with a lot of scrap wood, so there it went. Now, next year there should be a lean-to built on the other side of the shed to cover the boat...still pondering that one.
About the engines...yes, my 91.5 has the Amsoil Bypass system on it. The guy I bought it from was the original owner and he's run Amsoil in that bypass system since day 1. The 89 engine...I know it was owned by a company and fleet maintained, but that's all I know about it...I am kind of loathe to throw away years of really expensive maintenance for a mystery, if that makes any sense.
On the rears, I'm not going to take anything out of the truck, I don't think...leave the axles for someone who needs them. I'm pretty sure the 89 has 4.10 and my truck is 3.54, so I don't think it's even feasible...and I'm pretty happy sticking with the 3.54 anyhow.
It's just not worth me keeping the second truck...been there, done that. Too many cars, too much maintenance and too much headache. I need ONE reliable truck, and quite honestly, my truck doesn't even get worked hard. Home depot runs, occasional loads of topsoil or mulch and pulling a 3k lb. trailer is about it. No need for more of a work truck.
Thanks again, guys!

Thanks for the advice. The bumper is indeed nice. the visor...meh...not a big fan of plastic accessories...more of a 'plane jane' type of fellow myself.

If the visor had lights it would sell for a good penny, but you can only expect like $50 out of a regular one. I was at a swap meet Saturday and I saw so many visors it would about make a guy sick. None for a first gen though.
Oh, and they are fiberglass. I really like mine, and think my truck looks goofy without it.

Question:
The 89 has what I believe to be a 18cm housing. The 91.5 has the 21cm.
Would it be a good idea to swap the exhaust housings, or would I even notice any difference?

yes, switch. You'll notice. Don't switch the whole turbo because the 89 has a slightly smaller compressor, hence the "baby" H1C title it gets.
Does yours say "Holset- 1988 Indy Champs" on the turbo?

Yea the 89 will have the 18 which is a nice upgrade over the 21. the 93 5 speed with pump adjustments, stock inj. and 18.5cm spools up better than i'da though. open intake w/ high flow filter helps out alot.
